Its emergence was motivated by the absence of projects reflecting on the importance of queer Blackness in the diaspora in Portugal, in confluence with migratory exchanges from Latin America, Africa and other regions.<\/p>\n                    <p>One of Afrontosa\u2019s objectives is to support, promote and publicise artistic and educational production by Black, queer artists, with the aim of creating intersectional spaces for debate and discussion between cultural agents nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n                    <p>The collective aims to be active in five areas: Art and Research; Hospitality and Ancestrality; Consulting and Teaching; Culture and Celebration; and Lifestyle and Fashion Design.<\/p>\n                    <p>The Collective is made up of:  Didi, tony omolu, Rod, Amina Bawa, Wagner Lopes, Carolina Elis, No\u00e9 Jo\u00e3o, Nirio Sebasti\u00e3o and Valky.<\/p>\n                    <p>tony omolu, Didi and Rod are the three people leading the Association's processes at the moment, with the support of the other members.<\/p>\n                    <p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n                    <p><strong>tony omolu<\/strong> A hybrid performance artist between theatre and dance who navigates the waters of theatrical anthropology, as a practical-reflexive-theoretical researcher of this practice he presents himself as an actor-dancer - a definition coined by Eug\u00eanio Barba to outline the profile of the artist who investigates and practices the pre-expressive behaviour of the human being in a situation of organised representation. He has a master's degree in arts with a focus on teaching methodology in Afro-Brazilian dance, a degree and postgraduate course in philosophy and a postgraduate course in theatre. In Brazil she has had experience in the areas of contemporary dance, theatre, Afro-Brazilian dances (dances of the orix\u00e1s), performing groups of Afro-Brazilian popular culture, such as congada in Minas Gerais and samba schools. Her experiences and activities in these arts take the form of interpretation, direction, production and education in personal solo and collective creative projects. The hybridity of her artistic background dialogues with her ethnic background, which involves indigenous, African and Portuguese cultures. He is a practitioner of black scenes in movement, Afroqueer corpses, Afro-Atlantic artivism, dialogues and productions of territorial sensitivities of decentralisation and decolonisation of artistic making. Current work includes teaching dance and body expression at the Chapit\u00f4 school, circulating the show Iab\u00e1s, production assistance for Teatro Griot, and producing events promoted by Afrontosas.<\/p>\n                    <p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n                    <p><strong>Diego Candido aka DID<\/strong>I (Rio de Janeiro, 1986). Reside em Lisboa e trabalha por meio da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, produ\u00e7\u00e3o cultural e performance como DJ, cantor e artista visual\/transdisciplinar. Licenciou-se em Direito pela Universidade\n                      Candido Mendes &#8211; UCAM (2009), especializa\u00e7\u00e3o em Direito Empresarial pela Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Get\u00falio Vargas &#8211; FGV (2014)&nbsp;e&nbsp;mestrando em Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, Cultura e Tecnologia pelo ISCTE \u2013 IUL. Foi investigador do projeto \u201cRacismo e Xenofobia\n                      em Portugal: a normaliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos discursos de \u00f3dio no espa\u00e7o p\u00fablico da internet\u201d, pelo&nbsp;Centro em Rede de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em Antropologia &#8211; CRIA (2022-2023). Em sua trajet\u00f3ria art\u00edstica, fundou a unidade criativa em forma de festa\n                      Bee (bee_lx), uma das primeiras plataformas que trouxeram visibilidade para artistas negros, c\u00fair e imigrantes para a cena art\u00edstica em Portugal,&nbsp;movimentado-se em conex\u00e3o com coletivos, artistas e fazedores em projetos culturais\n                      e ind\u00fastrias criativas, na produ\u00e7\u00e3o e atua\u00e7\u00e3o direta como Afroeuropeans, Afropunk, BATEKOO, KunstenFestivaldesarts, Alkantara Festival, Pumpdabeat, entre outros. \u00c9 tamb\u00e9m membro fundador da UNA \u2013 Uni\u00e3o Negra das Artes e do Coletivo\n                      Afrontosas.&nbsp;Seu percurso art\u00edstico e investigativo conversa com temas relacionades \u00e0 (re) territorializa\u00e7\u00e3o coletiva, identidades, ativismo e performance antirracista, na produ\u00e7\u00e3o cultural e art\u00edstica cu\u00edr, negre e imigrante\n                      em di\u00e1spora. Nos \u00faltimos anos, atuou em projetos autorais e colaborativos como: A ARTE DO DESBUNDE (2020), CURADURA (2021), ESSA TAL CONSCI\u00caNCIA (2021),&nbsp;The True Colors (2022),&nbsp;Iab\u00e1s (2022),&nbsp;Al\u00e9m de voc\u00eas, o que tem\n                      pra comer hoje?(2023),&nbsp;Serei\/Afrodiasp\u00f3ra (2023), A Kalunga de Ossayn (2023). Como DJ, conecta-se com os mais variados ritmos e manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es art\u00edsticas afrodiasp\u00f3ricas por meio de express\u00f5es sonoras e de movimento, tendo atuado\n                      nas principais casas de Portugal, como Lux Fr\u00e1gil Musicbox, P\u00e9rola Negra, Arroz Estudios, Casa Independente, dentre outras. P\u00f3s-Doutor pelo Centro de Estudos da Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Sociedade do Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Sociais da Universidade do Minho, Doutor em Sociologia pelo Instituto\n                      de Ci\u00eancias Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa e Mestre pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Entre as suas m\u00faltiplas publica\u00e7\u00f5es destacam-se o livro \u201cA constru\u00e7\u00e3o do imagin\u00e1rio social dos imigrantes brasileiros em Portugal\n                      nas redes sociais da internet: o caso do Orkut \u201c(2016) publicado pelo Alto-Comissariado das Migra\u00e7\u00f5es (ACM) e \u201cA Pol\u00edtica dos Piratas: Informa\u00e7\u00e3o, culturas digitais e identidades pol\u00edticas\u201d (2017), publicado pelo Labom \u2013 Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o\n                      e Artes. Como artista visual desenvolve um trabalho com foco na cr\u00edtica decolonial. Participou de diversas exposi\u00e7\u00f5es coletivas e exibi\u00e7\u00f5es a solo, como na Feira Gr\u00e1fica de Lisboa (2020), na Casa do Capit\u00e3o (2021), no Espa\u00e7o Damas\n                      (2021), no Festival Bairro em Festa do Largo Resid\u00eancias (2021), na Galeria Not a Museum (2021), no MAAT \u2013 Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia (2022), nas Galerias Municipais de Lisboa (2022\/2023), no Kilombo, no contexto do\n                      Alkantara Festival (2023) al\u00e9m de participar de festivais e projetos, como por exemplo, o Festival Walk Talk A\u00e7ores 2020, do projeto \u201cComunidade enquanto Imunidade\u201d, do Projeto \u201cPrimeiro Rascunho\u201d do Teatro do Bairro Alto, do Campo\n                      de Treino (2021) e do De\/Codificar Bel\u00e9m, do Colectivo Faca. Desenvolveu o cen\u00e1rio do projeto da pe\u00e7a \u201cCasa com \u00c1rvores dentro\u201d, parte do projeto \u201cP\u00ea \u2013 Prefixo de Desumaniza\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, em conjunto com Cl\u00e1udia Semedo, Gisela Casimiro, Kalaf\n                      Epalang, entre outros artistas. Tem colaborado com tony omolu na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de cenografias e figurinos para as peformances \u201cIab\u00e1s\u201d, \u201cEm Cor Parda\u201d e \u201cA Kalunga de Ossayn\u201d. Em 2023, realizou uma resid\u00eancia art\u00edstica no Largo Resid\u00eancias\n                      onde realizou o evento perform\u00e1tico \u201cConversas com as \u00e1guas juntamente com Ellen Lima, Jahnvi Nandan e Lolo Arziki. Participou das &#8220;Pr\u00e1ticas Expandidas&#8221; do Campus Paulo Cunha e Silva (2023), do Projeto &#8220;Descortinar&#8221;, do Teatro Municipal\n                      do Porto e do MICAR &#8211; Mostra de Cinema Antirracista do SOS Racismo (2023). Fundou o Coletivo Afrontosas em 2022 com Didi e tony omulu, uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o cultural que nasceu a partir de encontros de pessoas negras\/racializadas cu\u00edr ligadas\n                      ao mundo das artes, da educa\u00e7\u00e3o e da celebra\u00e7\u00e3o motivadas pela aus\u00eancia de projetos que reflitam sobre a import\u00e2ncia da negritude cu\u00edr da di\u00e1spora em Portugal em conflu\u00eancia com os tr\u00e2nsitos migrat\u00f3rios da Am\u00e9rica Latina, \u00c1frica\n                      e outras regi\u00f5es. Ajudou a criar tamb\u00e9m a UNA \u2013 Uni\u00e3o Negra das Artes. Atrav\u00e9s dos coletivos que participa tem desenvolvido diversos projetos na \u00e1rea das artes visuais e performativas e da qualifica\u00e7\u00e3o de profissionais da arte, como\n                      por exemplo na cria\u00e7\u00e3o do LACRE \u2013 Laborat\u00f3rio de Arte Cu\u00edr e Resist\u00eancia realizado em 2023 com o apoio do Goethe-Institut de Lisboa e no projeto \u201cDiscurso\u201d (2023), do Teatro do Bairro Alto atrav\u00e9s com curadoria de Melissa Rodrigues.\n                      Homenageado pela\n                      <a href=\"https:\/\/powerlist100.bantumen.com\/2023\/rod\" class=\"customize-unpreviewable\">Power List \/ Bantumen 2023<\/a> como uma das 100 personalidades negras mais influentes.
